Ganodermin® is made from the fruiting body of the shiny lacquer fungus, scientifically known as Ganoderma lucidum. In Traditional Chinese Medicine, this medicinal mushroom has been used for therapeutic purposes for over 3,000 years. Over time, these healing methods spread throughout Asia. Its Chinese name, “Ling Zhi” or “Ling Chih,” translates to “plant of immortality” or “magical plant.” The word “Zhi” is also interpreted as a divine healing herb.
